Happy Independence day Philippines!!!

Earlier, we were suppose to go to Hermanos in Gilmore for lunch but ditched it at the last minute and decided to go to Bon Chon in Ayala Triangle Gardens instead. It was a great decision as Ayala Triangle have a “Colors of Freedom: Stories behind the Philippine Flag” presentation.

So after we had a late lunch, around 4PM, we walked around Ayala Triangle Gardens and read the stories, facts and trivia about our flag. Well, this may not be a new knowledge as we had this in school when we were in elementary but hey! That was a long long time ago and I only have a 2 seconds memory. Sorry, my bad. I’m a fish in reality ok?!

Seriously, it was a great way of spending Independence day. You not only lose some pounds while walking but you also gain interesting knowledge about our country’s history. So if you’re free visit and stroll at Ayala Triangle Gardens and learn about the beginning of our flag.
